Beautiful Light in the Sky: Government Claims "Missile Testing"!

Residents of Southern California looked up in to the night sky Saturday night to see a brilliant display of lights overhead.  With all of the speculation and anxiety, people started to believe that this was a UFO, which the government quickly turned down the claim by stating, it was "Missile testing". "The Navy Strategic Systems Program held a scheduled missile test flight at sea from USS Kentucky, which is a ballistic missile submarine. This test was conducted off of the coast of Southern California", the Pentagon said in a statement.

One resident observing the flight of the missile said "it went from gold and small, burning for a few minutes and turned into this blue spot light. Like at an event held at night -- not like shooting out at us, but a white bright light," he said.

The missile that was launched was unarmed and it was so bright that it was visible from as far away as Nevada and Arizona. The light led to a flood of calls to law enforcement agencies and it went viral on social media. You may ask the question "Why did the military not test the missile way off the coast"? The Associated Press stated that the test was in fact, conducted in the Pacific Test Range, a vast area located Northwest of Los Angeles, where the Navy does routine missile testing. This particular missile test that created the brilliant light display was indeed, a scheduled missile test.

If you were to see something like that shooting across the sky what would you think? Comment below and let me know!

- It looks more like a comet to me!
